Rocktown ICF History

We Are a Master Distributor of ICF in the Shenandoah Valley

Rocktown ICF Supply started in 1990 as Virginia Polysteel Wall Systems under the ownership of Glen Stoltsfuz. As a contractor passionate about building green, he became a supplier for the very first ICF manufacturer (American Polysteel) and then exclusively became a distributor for BuildBlock® Building Systems, the leading manufacturer in ICF construction today. 

Time passed and Glen began to realize retirement was in sight and began to seek someone he could trust to pass his business to. “I looked for someone to take over my business that had a wide knowledge of the building industry and believes in green energy and ICF construction.” – Glen

Steve Hostetter fit that bill. Steve worked for Glen for years prior to starting his own Class A contracting business. “Steve was like my son and right arm. His enthusiasm for building and his knowledge, integrity, and accuracy made him an incredible asset.” 

So in 2016, Steve took over Building Energy Solutions and relaunched the company as Rocktown ICF Supply. Rocktown ICF Supply not only still supplies the highest-quality ICF’s in the marketplace, but is able to provide over 20 years of green-building expertise to both homeowners and contractors.
